Duchess Catherine: Dispute over this videocall – video

Duchess Catherine telephoned families of war dead on Remembrance Day via video chat. Harry supporters were anything but enthusiastic about it – and let Kate feel it clearly.

On the occasion of "Remembrance Week", Duchess Catherine dedicated herself to families who have lost loved ones in the war. Every year the Royal Family commemorates those who died in the war – this tradition is particularly important for Prince Harry due to his past as a soldier. The previous years he remembered the fallen at the London War Memorial. However, this year he was unable to do so – his request was denied.

His request was not followed up

After retiring and moving to the United States, he is said to have asked his family to lay a wreath in his name. However, the royals did not comply with this request and were severely criticized. Kate felt the anger of the Harry followers clearly.
