When Prince William, Duchess Catherine, Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan appeared together at the gates of Windsor Castle, a murmur went through the mourning crowd. As is now known, Kate has spoken to passers-by about the reunion.
On the afternoon of September 10, 2022, there was a sensation at the gates of Windsor Castle: the former “Fab Four” Duchess Catherine, 40, Prince William, 40, Prince Harry, 37, and Duchess Meghan, 41, got out together black limousine to view the sea of flowers and condolences in honor of Queen Elizabeth, †96. After years of tension, the royal quartet put their differences aside to mourn the Queen’s death together.
As the British newspaper “The Telegraph” now reports, the newly appointed Princess of Wales had talked to mourning Royal fans about the sensational reunion.
Duchess Catherine and Co.: Reunion should only mean a truce
For the first time since 2020, William, Catherine, Harry and Meghan have appeared in public together. King Charles, 73, is said to have acted behind the scenes as the initiator and instructed his bickering sons to put their feud aside before the Queen’s funeral. At least that’s what the British “Daily Mail” claims to have learned from palace circles. After a phone call with his father, William reportedly called Harry and asked him and Meghan to accompany him and Kate to the mourning crowd.
An anonymous source later told The Telegraph: “The Prince of Wales felt it was important to present himself as a unit at an incredibly difficult time for the family.” Surely many royal fans want a reconciliation between Harry and William. However, some royal experts see the joint appearance merely as a kind of truce – for the grieving people.

And what does Duchess Catherine say about the reunion? After the former “Fab Four” had surveyed the sea of flowers and expressions of condolence, they devoted themselves to the waiting crowd in front of Windsor Castle, shaking hands, accepting gifts and words of comfort.
Duchess Catherine had also talked to a family and said about the joint appearance of William, Harry, Meghan and her: “You have to come together in times like these.” Pragmatic words, but if it weren’t for this particularly sad event, the former “Fab Four” probably would not have appeared in public together for a long time.
