Apart from their royal duties, Prince William and Duchess Catherine enjoy romantic time for two.

The Cambridge couple are on business in Scotland. There was a very personal appointment on the calendar yesterday: Prince William (38) and Duchess Catherine (39) visited St. Andrews University. Here they met in September 2001 and later fell in love. The two now used the time on site to indulge in memories – and to visit their favorite places.

The royals treat themselves to a delicious dinner

On the eve of their flying visit to the university (May 25, 2021), William and Kate ate in “Forgan’s Restaurant”, which is about 500 meters from the university. The press was not present. Some fans waited in front of the entrance to catch a glimpse of the two. One of them pressed the shutter release on his camera as the two left the building. “There were a lot of people outside when they left. But it was quiet inside. There was no pomp and no ceremony and no fanfare, they were very nice […]”, reports the manager of the restaurant according to” Hello “magazine.

Prince William and Duchess Catherine love fish’n’chips

Also on Wednesday (May 26, 2021) the Cambridges walked in the footsteps of the past – this time on the coast 15 kilometers away from St. Andrews. “Her Royal Highnesses visited East Neuk of Fife today and surprised us by ending their visit with a takeaway fish dinner which the Duchess told us was a lovely ‘trip back in time’,” writes the ” Anstruther Fish Bar “on their Facebook page. Prince William enjoyed the detour as did his wife. “The Duke thanked us for the fish and chips and said [unserem Mitarbeiter] Andrew that they were as good, if not better, than he remembered from college. ”

The royals enjoyed their culinary delights in compliance with corona outdoors. Photos show the two – completely down to earth – sitting on a bench at the harbor. Then William and Kate treated themselves to an ice cream, as further recordings prove.

After the fun, the royal duty calls

After Fish’n’Chips, the couple had to go back to work – but that was also a pleasure this time. The royals watched a screening of the new Disney film “Cruella” in the drive-in theater with employees of the British healthcare system. For this purpose, Queen Elizabeth (95) made an area available on the grounds of Holyrood Palace, her residence in Edinburgh.
