On July 1st, Prince William and Prince Harry will unveil a statue of Princess Diana. Duchess Kate is allegedly not there.
On July 1, Prince William (39) and Prince Harry (36) will meet again for the first time since the funeral of their grandfather, Prince Philip (1921-2021). The two unveil a statue in honor of their late mother, Princess Diana (1961-1997). According to a report in the Daily Mail William’s wife, Duchess Kate (39), could stay away from the event.
Kensington Palace announced on June 25th that only a small number of guests were attending the event. Statue is unveiled in Kensington Palace gardens
The statue will be unveiled in the Sunken Garden at Kensington Palace. Princess Diana would have turned 60 next Thursday. As the newspaper had previously reported, initially more than 100 people should take part in the unveiling of the statue, but this is now not possible due to the corona restrictions. Instead, a larger ceremony should follow in September.
