They have found their permanent home – Meghan, Harry and Archie are now celebrating their first "special" Christmas party in the USA.
Duchess Meghan (39) and Prince Harry (36) celebrate their first Christmas together in the USA with their son Archie (1). The Duke and Duchess of Sussex celebrated in 2017 and 2018 with Queen Elizabeth II (94) and the royal family in Sandringham, last year they spent their first Christmas with Archie in Canada. Shortly afterwards, Meghan and Harry announced that they would be stepping down as high-ranking royals. The small family moved to California in the spring.
In the summer, the couple bought a house in Montecito – about 150 kilometers north of Meghan's hometown of Los Angeles. And there they obviously enjoy the holidays with their son. "It is Harry's second Christmas outside of England and Meghan wants to make sure that it is something special for everyone," the US magazine "People" quoted an alleged insider. "They create their own traditions in their new home." Harry and Meghan "love Christmas and have decorated with Archie," People reported earlier, citing another anonymous source. Meghan's mother Doria Ragland (64) should also celebrate with the Sussexes.
Christmas mail from Harry and Meghan
Harry and Meghan sent Christmas mail to Great Britain on Wednesday. The British animal welfare organization Mayhew, of which Meghan is the patron, made the small family's personal card public on its website and via Instagram. It is an illustration showing Harry, Meghan and Archie playing together in the garden. The dogs Pula and Guy can also be recognized.
"The original photo of the family was taken by the Duchess' mother in her home earlier this month," People said, quoting a spokesman for the couple. Accordingly, the backyard of Harry and Meghan's home in California can be seen on the map, as well as Archie's personal playhouse. "We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year," read the family's Christmas greetings.
