Glamorous farewell to the Invictus Games

Meghan and Harry made a glamorous appearance at the end of the Invictus Games. They weren’t the only stars in Düsseldorf.
The Invictus Games 2023 in Düsseldorf ended on Saturday evening (September 16th). Attending the closing ceremony were patron Prince Harry, 39, and his wife Duchess Meghan, 42. Harry, who gave a speech at the event, wore a black suit with a dark shirt underneath.
Meghan debuted a green strapless dress with a delicate floral print by Cult Gaia. She reportedly didn’t come on stage. Prince Harry and his wife cheered and clapped together in the stands. Next to them were Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier, 67, who also gave a speech, and his wife Elke Büdenbender, 61.

Prince Harry’s speech at the end of the sporting event for disabled soldiers According to media reports, he was said to be very emotional. In German, he thanked, among other things, the people in Düsseldorf and added “and many thanks to Germany for these fantastic games.”
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan then left the arena, according to the Daily Mail before Rita Ora’s, 32, last song so as not to get into the crowd. The singer performed some of her hits at the closing ceremony.

This Sunday, Harry and Meghan are reportedly flying back to the USA to see their children Archie, 4, and Lillibet, 2. The couple has been living in Montecito, California, since 2020. The British prince and his American-born wife had previously resigned as senior members of the royal family.
Meanwhile, the next Invictus Games will take place again in North America. “As the Invictus Games have continued to adapt and evolve, I am delighted to announce that the Invictus Games Foundation has selected Canada to host the first-ever Winter Hybrid Games in 2025,” Prince Harry said in a statement. The competition will therefore be held near Whistler and Vancouver.
