Buckingham Palace “ignores” their allegations of racism

The Duchess Meghan and Prince Harry made serious allegations against the Royal Family in their explosive Oprah interview. But to no avail: Your revelations are said to fall on deaf ears in the palace.
“In the months that I was pregnant, it was always about him [Archie] won’t get a title and concerns and discussions about how dark his skin might be when he’s born. “
With this allegation, Duchess Meghan, 40, dropped a bomb in conversation with Oprah Winfrey, 67. Does the Royal Family have a racism problem? And who thought about Archie’s skin color? Prince Harry, 36, does not want to reveal that, it would cause too much damage to the person concerned. The royal told the talk queen only this much after the interview: his grandparents, Queen Elizabeth, 95, and Prince Philip, † 99, weren’t.
Duchess Meghan + Prince Harry: No reaction from the palace
Buckingham Palace commented on the allegations a few days after the interview with a brief but personal statement: “The whole family is shocked to learn how challenging the past few years have been for Harry and Meghan. The issues raised, especially the Skin color, are troubling. While some perceptions differ, the subject is taken very seriously and discussed privately in family circles. Harry, Meghan, and Archie will forever be loved members of the family. ” Since then, the palace has been silent – and it should stay that way, as the authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand claim in their new version of the reveal book “Finding Freedom”.
Accordingly, Buckingham Palace “ignores” the racism allegations of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex in the hope that they will finally “disappear”. An insider close to Harry and Meghan, however, doubts that the allegations will simply vanish at some point, adding that the royals “should have learned by now that something like this never happens”.
Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have repeatedly stressed that “Finding Freedom” is not authorized and they have no collaboration with Scobie and Durand. It is well known, however, that Omid Scobie in particular maintains a close relationship of trust with the Duchess – it is not for nothing that he is nicknamed “Meghan’s Cheerleader”.
“Finding Freedom”: New revelations could shake the Royal Family again
The updated edition of “Finding Freedom” with a new epilogue is due to be published on August 31, 2021. So far, the following claims have leaked:
- It has been criticized that after ex-employees accused the Duchess of Sussex of bullying, the monarchy ordered an investigation into the allegations, while the couple’s allegations of racism were not investigated.
- Prince Harry was “deeply saddened” after he was denied permission to lay a wreath in his name on Remembrance Sunday 2020.
- Durand and Scobie portray a new perspective on Harry’s financial situation in the run-up to “Megxit”, claiming the couple “would not have survived” without his legacy from Diana.
- Duchess Meghan did not know that the diamond earrings she received as a wedding present were from Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who is accused of ordering the murder of a journalist.
The updated edition of the controversial biography is expected to spark another heated debate over the state of Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the Royal Family.
