The legal series “Suits” has been making a real comeback for some time now. Rick Hoffman, 53, who is a guest in a new episode of the podcast “Chicks in the Office,” is also pleased. On this occasion, the actor also reveals some details about the wedding of his ex-colleague Duchess Meghan, 42 – which will literally stink for her.

Footage of his facial expression in the packed church at Windsor Castle, where Meghan and Prince Harry, 39, tied the knot in May 2018, went viral at the time. The actor, who played the role of Louis Litt in all nine seasons of the US series, now explains the reason for this. “We were all happy to be there. I sit down and as time goes on I start to smell something really horrible and disgusting and I’m very sensitive about it,” the 53-year-old remembers .

“Suits” colleague Sarah Rafferty, 51, had previously pointed out to him that there were cameras everywhere in the church. After Rick Hoffman discovered the foul smell, he asked his colleagues if they could smell it too, but they said no. “I didn’t want them to think it was me because I’m so picky when it comes to hygiene,” said Hoffman, who then cursed under his breath. “And that’s what they recorded.”

Meghan, of all people, always made fun of him for being so sensitive to a lack of personal hygiene. “She always knew and always laughed at the fact that I was so sensitive,” the actor explains the irony of the situation.

But he also had positive memories from the big royal wedding. It was an experience that he “will take with me until the day I die,” it was something incredibly special. “When you were on the site you just thought ‘Wow’. You had the feeling of being in another century,” he enthuses.
