Revenge is sweet! She probably did not expect that Duchess Meghan’s ex-husband Trevor Engelson would be so happy without her.
Actually, it was thought that Duchess Meghan, 42, would be the big winner across the board. She was an aspiring actress and is now one of the most famous women in the world. She has with Prince Harry, 38, married her prince charming and became the Duchess of Sussex, a member of the British royal family. Sounds like a fairy tale, doesn’t it?
Duchess Meghan: The fairy tale became a nightmare
But as we should all know by now, the initial fairy tale turned into a nightmare. Life alongside a Blueblood was anything but easy. Racism, pressure, jealousy and quarrels shaped everyday life in London in the shadow of the royal family and made it difficult for Meghan to arrive and feel safe and protected. She fully revealed that the opposite was the case in the scandalous Netflix documentary and in an interview with talk legend Oprah Winfrey, 69.
Duchess Meghan: Trevor Engelson is so happy
The other way around with Trevor Engelson, 46: The American film producer and literature manager was Duchess Meghan’s first husband. He met her in 2004 and married her in 2011, but the happiness didn’t last. The split came after 23 months and was reportedly prompted by the former ‘Suits’ actress. Trevor Engelson is said to have been left shocked and heartbroken. At the time, he thought he would never be happy again. But as the saying goes: It always turns out differently than you think.
Trevor Engelson has been happily married since 2019 to Tracey Kurland, a nutritionist whose late father made a $500 million fortune in the mortgage industry before his untimely death of complications from Covid in 2021. Tracey is reported to have inherited $250 million. Wow! Trevor has already won financially, but of course money alone doesn’t make you happy either.

A friend of Trevor’s told the Mail on Sunday that his pal is doing great and is a happy family man. He and Tracey live on a sprawling estate in an affluent Los Angeles area with their two young daughters and are overjoyed. “When I saw him recently he kept talking about how he’s happier than ever and how much he loves being a father and that he’s never felt so fulfilled.” Of course, life is not a race, but the separation from Meghan Markle was very tough on the businessman back then. His friend remarked:
Everyone in Trevor’s life knows not to mention the “M” word.
Apparently, the Duchess of Sussex broke the agent’s heart so badly that even the mention of her name hurts. Seeing her move on and marry Prince Harry is also said to have given him pangs. That he is so happy now: Nice for Trevor Engelson!
“It’s the ultimate revenge”
The fact that he’s out of the limelight – a fact he’s reportedly always hated – would also do him good. “He’s moving on with his life and you could say he’s living an even better life than Meghan. He probably has more money than she does now, he’s doing what he loves and he’s not in the spotlight. It’s the ultimate revenge. “
His friend continued to rave about the bond between Trevor and Tracey. “They are a very close family and a great couple. He loves his wife and two little girls. When he is with them he never stops smiling.”
Trevor Engelson: Professionally successful and privately happy
The businessman is also more than successful professionally. His Beverly Hills-based management and production company Underground created the hit TV crime drama ‘Snowfall,’ which ran for six seasons and starred British actor Damson Idris, 32. A spin-off show is in the works. Engelson also represents a number of rising stars and, unlike many others in Hollywood, has been a fervent supporter of the current actors and writers strike. “He’s one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. He’d give you his shirt off,” his friend said.
How nice that Trevor Engeleson has found his great happiness after the failure of his marriage to Meghan Markle and is now satisfied.
