On May 19, 2018, the whole world looked to Great Britain. Duchess Meghan, 42, married Prince Harry, 39, in the St. Georges Chapel at Windsor Castle. A royal wedding that went down in the history books and was followed live by millions of people worldwide. Celebrities, friends and families were looking forward to this day. This was also the case with Meghan’s best friend at the time, Jessica Mulroney, 44. The Canadian was significantly involved in the wedding preparations – and so it was no surprise that Meghan asked the children she trusted to act as pages.

Duchess Meghan: John and Brian Mulroney are now 13 years old

At the time, John and Brian Mulroney were seven years old. The two offspring set off together with Meghan on what was probably the most important car trip in the actress’s life so far. When they reached the impressive entrance to the church, it was time for the boys to complete their task: the seven-year-olds wore the Duchess’s five-meter-long veil. With big grins, John and Brian walked behind the bride. Her childlike euphoria attracted a lot of positive attention at the time.

Today the two teenagers pose in front of cameras in a completely different way. The radiant children’s laughter obviously had to give way: John and Brian Mulroney are now 13 years old and appear skillfully relaxed in front of the lens. A new photo shared by Jessica Mulroney on her Instagram channel shows how grown up her children have become.

John and Brian flank their sister Ivy Mulroney, 10. Both have the same haircut – just like six years ago – and also agree on their fashion style: beige cargo pants, combined with a T-shirt and a dark blue short coat. Her mother jokes about the picture: “The pot haircut is back in style with the boys and unicorn headbands never go out of style with Miss Ivy.”

There are numerous comments from friends of the Mulroney family under the photo. The tone: Everyone is fascinated by how quickly the three children have grown up. It’s not just John and Brian’s looks that are commented on – their daughter Ivy is also a source of excitement. “Holy crap, where do these kids come from? They’ve grown up so much. It’s amazing to see how children become young adults,” reads one comment.

What becomes clear from the offspring: time is running! The small children have now become teenagers who casually pose for the camera. But the boys’ change is symbolic of a tragic development: Duchess Meghan is currently not watching the two boys grow up. Prince Harry’s wife is said to no longer have contact with her former best friend.

Meghan and Jessica should no longer have contact

Meghan misses how her pages slowly but surely become men. Jessica Mulroney, on the other hand, doesn’t see how Archie, 4, and Lilibet, 2, grow up and develop into little personalities. The women’s break is said to have happened in 2020 and made headlines.

Meghan has never commented on the end of the friendship. Jessica Mulroney shared some cryptic messages on Instagram over the years that caused confusion. But the women clearly no longer seem to be in contact. Meghan announced her new label “American Riviera Orchard” on Instagram and sent her company’s first products to friends. Jessica apparently didn’t receive a gift basket. Not only that: the Canadian stylist doesn’t even follow the official Instagram channel of Duchess Meghan’s lifestyle brand.
