“witch”, “puppeteer”? Who is she really?

Is Duchess Meghan really as manipulative and calculating as the media portrays her? Royal expert Omid Scobie apparently wants to save Prince Harry’s wife’s reputation.
The image in the world press is clear: Duchess Meghan, 41, is portrayed as a wicked witch who cast a spell on poor Prince Harry, 38, and snatched him from his perfect family, culminating in the Megxit. The name given to the exit as senior royals in 2020 is significant and, of course, anti-Meghan propaganda. Prince Harry is said to be blind to love and is said to be so obsessed with the former ‘Suits’ actress that as a grown man he’s even been denied the ability to make his own decisions since he started dating her. But is this narrative correct? Meghan supporter Omid Scobie, 41, jumps into the breach again for his favorite royal.
Duchess Meghan: Is she a wicked witch?
The author, who co-wrote the work “Finding Freedom: Harry and Meghan”, commented on the Duchess of Sussex in an interview with the YouTube channel “Common Sense” in the episode “The Truth about Prince Harry and Meghan”. and claims that Meghan is not the puppeteer in all the drama surrounding the Megxit, the Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan” and Prince Harry’s memoir “Spare”. It is the British royal himself who is said to have taken the driver’s seat in all of this, according to Omid Scobie. Duchess Meghan is just the passenger who had to buckle up because it was a turbulent ride.
“It’s bizarre because I think the image that’s often presented is that Meghan is some sort of witch-like character that Harry has cast a spell over and that he’s incapable of making a decision for himself meet, think clearly, manage his relationship with his family as he chooses, or tell his own story without their involvement,” said Omid Scobie.

So Meghan isn’t really the mastermind behind all the drama surrounding herself and Harry? Referring to the six-part Netflix documentary released on the streaming service in December, which focused on Harry and Meghan’s love story and the difficulties the Sussexes had with the press and the British royal family, the royal expert says Picture of Meghan as a puppeteer: “Actually, it couldn’t have been further from the truth and I think the docu-series did a really good job of conveying how much Harry has been in the driver’s seat on this journey. Meghan was just trying to come up with a solution find when they were left alone. But that doesn’t fit the narrative.” It is more entertaining for Royal fans to read that Duchess Meghan is a nasty witch, a “Duchess Difficult” or “Princess Pinocchio”.
