Ducobu 3 airs tonight on TMC. After the success of the previous parts in the cinema, is a fifth film in preparation? Response elements.
While TMC is broadcasting Ducobu 3 tonight, is an episode 5 possible? Ducobu has already had four films at the cinema, all crowned with a certain success and regular in terms of admissions, namely all of them exceeding one million admissions: in detail, L’Eleve Ducobu recorded 1,490,654 admissions ( released in June 2011); Les Vacances de Ducobu, 1,058,074 admissions (April 2012); Ducobu 3, 1,497,326 admissions (February 2020), and finally, Ducobu President, 1,129,226 admissions (July 2022).
Note that Ducobu 3 is the most successful component, which is despite being released just before the first confinement.
Building on the success of this franchise, which to date has accumulated more than 5 million admissions in total, we can bet on the start of a 5th episode. Is the project current? In Télé-Loisirs, Elie Semoun had provided some details on the possibility of a sequel:
“Yes, even if I don’t have any ideas for the script yet. All I know is that I want to get him out of his school, he’s a bit fed up, he needs to breathe! So we can take him to the mountains, to the sea, abroad, but we have to make him travel.“
Before knowing more about a possible sequel, the film Ducobu 3 is broadcast this evening on TMC. For the record, the Ducobu films are inspired by the Belgian comic book series created by Zidrou and Godi.
