Dune: Spice Wars, Big Conquest Update Launches in 4X

Dune: Spice Wars is still in Early Access on PC since April 2022, developers from Shiro Games chain of updates to improve the gaming experience, the gameplay and content, and they are releasing this week “the biggest update” for their 4X.

Conquest mode encourages players to experiment with new styles of play for each of the main houses, expanding the possibilities with unique and effective new perks, while facing challenging scenarios. Each round unfolds differently and lasts approximately 10 hours.

Beyond this major new feature, the update has many more benefits to showcase. The tutorials have been expanded, which greatly facilitates the arrival of newcomers to Arrakis. Major balance changes and additions have been made to nearly every aspect of the game, including spy improvements, assassination overhauls, economy optimizations, and game UI overhauls.

Additionally, the Conquest update includes new regions, a unique new building for each faction, quality of life improvements, an improved user interface, and nine new soundtracks.

This update is a big step forward in development that began almost a year ago through Early Access. In order to set the stage for the epic and cruel drama that unfolds at the center of the universe, Arrakis, many features that make Dune: Spice Wars special have been refined: the balance of all scales, plots and espionage, brutal fighting, Landsraad politics, the flow of spices, and the ever-present threat of Arrakis itself.
