Duolingo Maths will be released on iOS and iPadOS later this year
You read that right, so the publisher has decided to take on the math. A second application will be released, initially exclusively on iOS and iPadOS, titled, quite rightly, “Duolingo Maths” should be released later this year. An open beta version is already available.
About his project, Duolingo explains that he wants ” use all our experience in language teaching to bring it to other areas “. The app will be almost identical to the one dedicated to languages, and that’s no coincidence. Duolingo will apply the methods that made it famous for learning: series of working days, reminders, fun and simple interface.
Multiplications, division, subtraction will be part of the game, but that’s not all! The application aims to make us reconnect with advanced mathematics. Thus, you will be able to review your notions of geometry with the calculations of perimeters and areas for example. This new application will make us work on our logic and on everything that haunted the childhood of many schoolchildren. Indeed, French children are among the lowest in the European Union and OECD rankings in mathematics, this is an opportunity to catch up!
