There are only two weeks left until the release of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, except for Switch players who will have to wait a few more months. Techland already released a great trailer recently hyped well as it should and quickly showed what the coop will give during the 6th Dying 2 Know. And precisely, on this subject, the studio now specifies that the whole game will be playable up to 4 in cooperation except the prologue, for obvious reasons. And since the devil is in the details, a video was released by playstation to present the display modes that PS5 owners will be able to enjoy.
We therefore have the choice between a way Performance at 60 fps or more depending on the situation, a way Quality with some ray tracing and finally a way Resolution to display the game in 4K on compatible screens. And what will it be on Xbox Series X ? Not jealous, owners of the console Microsoft will be entitled to the same treatment, as evidenced by the video posted on the brand’s channel. As always, the brand’s other “next-gen” console, the Xbox Series S, will undoubtedly have to settle for less unspecified parameters, the same obviously for the PS4 and Xbox One.
Finally, if it were necessary to specify it, players who pick up a PS4 version will get a digital copy on PS5 for free with the upgrade now well known, while those on Xbox One will benefit from the Smart Delivery again allowing access to an Xbox Series copy at no additional cost.
less obvious, the ability to play co-op across platforms from different ecosystems and different console generations will not be available at launch, but will therefore come later. In contrast, the cross play on PC will be active, so you can easily have fun together whether you bought your copy on Steam or theEpic Games Store.
