In itself, Amazon is known for releasing its own products in countries outside the USA in a timely manner, but in the case of the second Echo Buds, the delay lasted almost a year. But now the time has come, Amazon is now also selling the second generation from us.
At the presentation, we (the WinFuture editorial team) wrote that Amazon has announced its new Echo Buds and that they offer better ANC (Active Noise Cancelling) and that at a competitive price. This is still the case and has not changed since the market launch in our latitudes.
79.99 euros to start with
Because the new Echo Buds can be pre-ordered now and will officially be released on February 24, 2022. The price of the wireless Amazon headphones is certainly an announcement, at least at the introductory price. Because the second-generation Echo Buds are currently available for EUR 79.99, according to Amazon, they normally cost EUR 119.99.

It is currently not known when the mail order company will start asking for the higher price, but those who have already decided to do so should do so now. If you miss the “special price”, you should probably be patient afterwards, because Amazon regularly sells its own products at a reduced price (the next opportunity will probably come at Easter).
The second generation Echo Buds are around 20 percent smaller than the first edition of the true wireless headphones, and the charging case has even shrunk by 40 percent. Amazon specifies the battery life as around five hours, and the case can be charged twice. So that works out to 15 hours, which is more of an average value.
The best earbuds in the price check
The IPX4-protected earbuds come with Alexa support. Sound quality is always a very subjective thing with headphones, according to Soundguys they sound ok but no more: “The Amazon Echo Buds (Gen 2) sound decent enough that most people will enjoy them. They aren’t the earbuds though to buy if you’re looking for a high-end experience.”
