Paris, March 25, 2024 – Econocom, pioneer of the circular digital economy, takes a major step in its CSR approach with the launch of “Impact”, a digital media embodying the company’s roadmap and its commitments in matters of corporate social responsibility (CSR). This initiative is part of the “One Econocom” strategic plan, highlighting impact at the heart of its vision.
In line with the rise of extra-financial indicators, particularly with the entry into force of the CSRD (Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive), this digital media highlights the achievements and indicators of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the band. However, its vocation goes far beyond that of a simple showcase by offering a privileged space for in-depth discussions, sharing of experiences and perspectives on the challenges of the sector. “Impact” is thus distinguished by its educational and informative dimension, actively contributing to awareness and understanding of contemporary societal challenges.
The “Impact” media is thus deploying a program of protean content (infographics, podcasts, videos, articles, etc.) in order to concretely highlight the group’s CSR commitments. These include a gender equality index in France of 94 points and an Ecovadis rating of 70/100 rewarded with a gold medal. In addition, Econocom is ranked 753rd among European diversity leaders. Concerning the energy consumption of its internal IT, this has decreased by 3.5 times since 2017. Finally, as a pioneer of the circular economy, Econocom reconditioned 493,000 digital equipment in 2023 and thus extended from 3 to 4 years on average the lifespan of these assets,
