PARIS, Jan 20 (Reuters) – EDF’s CSEC (Central Social and Economic Committee) announced on Thursday that it was initiating an economic alert right procedure following government decisions on the tariffs applied by the French energy company. .
The central CSE will therefore be convened on Friday February 4, 2022 to discuss this subject with the group’s decision, it is explained in a press release.
The group’s staff representatives believe that government announcements aimed at limiting the impact on consumers of the current spike in energy prices, which are forcing EDF to sell more nuclear electricity at low prices to its competitors, will plunge the group “into a money pit” and constitute “framed extortion”.
