Elden Ring: The Shadow of the World Tree expansion will be long overdue, an update on game sales

Released in February 2022, Elden Ring will have been a real phenomenon. The title of FromSoftware picks up the codes of Dark Souls, but in an open world, enough to seduce even the least daring players. The game had more than 20 million copies sold last February, but sales are slowing.

This is what notices bandai namco in his latest financial, announcing thatElden Ring has sold 20.5 million copies as of March 31.. The figure remains impressive, but to sell additional copies, players will need a good reason to crack… like an extension? The Shadow of the World Tree had been teased last February, with a artwork to say the least enigmatic which has given rise to many theories from fans. THE DLCs is unfortunately not about to be releasedbecause Kadokawaparent company of FromSoftwaredo not list The Shadow of the World Tree in its expected revenue for this fiscal year. Clear, Elden Ring expansion wouldn’t release until April 2024, Kadokawa only bet on Armored Core IV: Fires of Rubicon (another title of FromSoftware), productions of Spike Chunsoft and mobile games for the next few months.

Two years will therefore pass between the release of the initial game and its extension, will the players still be there? No doubt, so Elden Ring excites fans even to this day. If so, you can find theart book official at €39.99 on Amazon.
