Elisabeth Borne would not support the revelations that were made in a biographical book about her written by Bérengère Bonte. “La Secrète” was published last week by Editions de l’Archipel. The Prime Minister sued the publisher to remove passages because of invasions of his privacy.

Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne sued the publisher of a biography about her because of invasions of her privacy. The publication of this biography written by Bérengère Bonte, entitled The Secret, put the Prime Minister beside herself. Elisabeth Borne requests that in all new editions or reprints of the book, many passages be deleted, including paragraphs referring to her health, her sexual orientation, but also her family life.

A year of investigation

In Bérengère Bonte’s book, the man presented as the Prime Minister’s companion in the tabloid press actually indicates that he is in a PACS with another woman. What to question the sincerity of the story of the Prime Minister who denied rumors of homosexuality shortly after his appointment. The Matignon host claims one euro in damages and 5,000 euros in legal costs.

The editions of the Archipelago recall that this work is the fruit of a year of investigation and that Elisabeth Borne granted two long interviews to her biographer. The hearing before the Nanterre court is scheduled for May 24. In the meantime, the Prime Minister is contributing in spite of herself to promoting this book.
