“Élite” kicks off June 18 with new additions to season four. Before that, Netflix provided fans with short stories about stars who had dropped out.

Las Encinas students are back! “Élite” starts its fourth season on June 18th. In the new episodes, familiar faces, but also newcomers, will throw themselves into school uniforms. The makers of the Spanish Netflix series have also come up with something special: Popular characters who celebrated their farewell in season three will return before the season premiere in four short stories from June 14th.

“Elite” – that’s what it’s about

Las Encinas is the best and most exclusive school in Spain where the children of the elite are educated. But when three young people from the working class start school, rich and poor collide. Three seasons and some secrets, murders and intrigues later, new students stir up Las Encinas again in season four. A first trailer promises new flirtations and relationship dramas. Guzmán (Miguel Bernardeau, 24), Samuel (Itzan Escamilla, 23), Rebeka (Claudia Salas, 26), Cayetana (Georgina Amorós, 23), Omar (Omar Ayuso, 23) and Ander (Arón Piper, 24 ).

On the other hand, Manu Rios (22), Carla Díaz (30), Martina Cariddi and singer Pol Granch (23) will join the cast. Diego Martin (46) will also play the new Rector Benjamin. He is one of the most powerful business people in Europe and wants to bring the school back into shape. He brings his three children to Las Encinas: Ari (Díaz), an ambitious perfectionist, Mencía (Cariddi), an anti-authoritarian rebel, and Patrick (Rios), who enjoys his sprawling lifestyle in an introduction video clarifies: “I’ll take what I want.” And then there is the Franco-Spanish Prince Phillippe von Triesenberg (Pol Granch), who “doesn’t trust anyone”.

Short stories with stars who have dropped out

After the third season, fans of the series had to say goodbye to Alvaro Rico (Polo), Ester Expósito (Carla), Mina El Hammani (Nadia), Danna Paola (Lu) and Jorge López (Valerio). However, some of them are reunited. Between June 14 and 17, 2021, Netflix will publish four short stories, each consisting of three ten-minute episodes as a countdown to the season premiere. They play in the summer before the new school year, are supposed to expand the “Elite” world, but also create a link with the new episodes (from June 14: Guzmán / Caye / Rebe, from June 15: Nadia / Guzmán, from June 16: Guzmán / Caye / Rebe). June: Omar / Ander / Alexis, from June 17th: Carla / Samuel).

Season five already confirmed

Netflix has already announced the fifth before the start of the fourth season. In the following episodes there are newcomers again: André Lamoglia (23, “Juacas”) and Valentina Zenere (24, “Soy Luna”) will be there.
