Eliteliga Vorarlberg – Exciting four-way battle for the last semi-final ticket

Last day of play in the Vorarlberg Eliteliga, a place in the semi-finals is still up for grabs. Rotenberg, Wolfurt and Lauterach will probably make up for it – SW Bregenz would need a medium-sized miracle.

Appropriately, the four teams also play against each other: Rotenberg has to go to Lauterach, Bregenz welcomes Wolfurt (both 17). The Bregenzerwald have the best starting position – a win is certainly enough, a draw under certain circumstances. “But no matter how it turns out, we can be proud – my boys played a brilliant spring,” says Rotenberg coach Jürgen Maccani, “unfortunately we are missing all the strikers today, but we will try everything.” Should Rotenberg skip Lauterach, we would the Jakubec-Elf qualify with simultaneous defeat of Wolfurt in Bregenz. Wolfurt, on the other hand, will be there if they win in Bregenz and Rotenberg doesn’t win. But the Bregenzers need a thumping victory and a draw in the other game. Röthis looks on relaxed – the game-free Visintainer squad can no longer be pushed out of the top two.
