A video that has been around the world … At Christmas, a teenager entered the grounds of Windsor Castle with the aim of assassinating Elizabeth II. Arrested after having climbed the fence of the castle, Jaswant Singh Chail, did not have time to attack the Queen of England. Twenty minutes earlier, it was in a video posted on Snapchat that he had said: “I am sorry. I am sorry for what I have done and what I am going to do. I will attempt to assassinate Elizabeth, queen of the royal family. It is revenge for those who died in the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919. It is also revenge for those who have been killed, humiliated and discriminated against because of their race. I am an Indian Sikh, a Sith. My name was Jaswant Singh Chail, my name is Dark Jones. If you have received this message, it is because my death is near. Please share this with anyone and if possible pass it on to the media if they are interested.“
Spotted by CCTV cameras, Jaswant singh chail was arrested around 8:30 a.m. He was then interned under the Mental Health Act. In an interview with MailOnline, the teenager’s father, Jasbir Singh Chail said: “Something has gone horribly wrong with our son and we are trying to figure out what. We haven’t had a chance to talk to him, but we’re trying to give him the help he needs. From our perspective, we are going through a difficult time. We are trying to solve this problem and it is not easy.“
