Maybe symbolically she thought, ‘Me, I don’t want a reign like that for my son and I want the queen to be next'”, asked Géraldine Maillet. And for the specialist in royalty, that’s for sure: “This conclusion was not made by Elizabeth II in person”. According to him, “Charles had been suggesting the idea to him for a long time”. The reason ? “Elizabeth II is anything but nice. She’s not mean, she’s extremist, she’s totalitarian, he launched, provoking the astonishment of the chroniclers.
