Sunday February 6, 2022, Queen Elizabeth II will celebrate her 70th anniversary of reign. No doubt nostalgic for all these past years, she immersed herself in the photos that marked her years on the throne.
The year 2022 is the year of Queen Elizabeth II. After losing her husband, Prince Philip in 2021 and having had to take a step back from her duties and rest due to great fatigue, she is determined to move forward. On February 6, 2022, Prince Charles’ mother will celebrate its platinum jubilee. Indeed, she will celebrate her 70 years of reign. It is the first time that a queen or king of the British principality has achieved this impressive reign time. For the occasion, the country will celebrate this jubilee in June 2022. For the occasion, Her Majesty has decided to relive the memories of all those years spent on the throne. Buckingham Palace released footage of the Queen looking at the memorabilia. She seemed to be very happy to relive the highlights of her reign.
Among the memories, she must have relived the three previous jubilees she had already experienced: the silver one in 1977, the gold one in 2002 and the diamond one in 2012. She was not alone watching his photos sinceshe was accompanied by one of her faithful dogs: a corgi. The photographers were present to immortalize this moment filled with emotions. In addition to the photos, the queen had the great pleasure of being able open drawings that children may have drawn for her.
Queen Elizabeth II hopes this jubilee will strengthen ties
As with all previous jubilees, this event will be celebrated with great fanfare. The queen really hopes that these festivities will help to strengthen the ties between this royal family, which has been going through very complicated times in recent months. The party will also take place on the side of the English people. Many will be celebrating.
