Talk show host Ellen DeGeneres tested positive for the coronavirus. She informs her fans: "I'm fine at the moment."

Ellen DeGeneres (62, "Home") will spend the run-up to Christmas in quarantine. The American talk show host was infected with the corona virus. She informed her followers on social media on Thursday (December 10th): "I tested positive for Covid-19." At the moment she is – "luckily" – doing well.

"Everyone who has been in close contact with me has been notified and I am following all mandatory guidelines," DeGeneres continued. It is not known whether her wife Portia de Rossi (47, "The difficult lot of lightness") was also infected. The women have been married since 2008. "I'll see you all again after the holidays," the 62-year-old said goodbye to the quarantine.
