The list of the world's richest living individuals appears to have a new leader. According to the billionaire ranking "Bloomberg Billionaires Index", Tesla and SpaceX boss Elon Musk (49) has replaced the founder of the online mail order company Amazon, Jeff Bezos (56), at the top. He had held the position since October 2017.
As reported by "bloomberg.com", Tesla shares are said to have increased by around 700 percent in the past twelve months. On Thursday (January 7), Musk finally succeeded in taking over the post of front runner with another share price gain of 1.5 billion US dollars over Bezos. His net worth is estimated at about $ 188.5 billion, around 153.7 billion euros.
