For the Chinese New Year, celebrated on February 1, 2022, the Prince Emmanuel Philibert of Savoy took to his Instagram account to wish his subscribers a Happy New Year of the Tiger. The opportunity was perfect to highlight the large tattoo that has adorned his arm for 2 years now!
Among the various designs that decorate his body, the head of the royal house of Savoy has a large colored tiger inside his forearm (see slideshow). A pattern that seems to date from the year 2019 and a trip to Tokyo, as evidenced by an Instagram photo taken at the tattoo artist at that time. This taste for ink, he could well have inherited it from his friend Johnny Hallyday, since the Taulier was able to transmit this passion for tattooing to several members of his entourage, starting with Laeticia Hallyday. Since the rocker’s death in 2017, his widow has also remained close to Prince Emmanuel Philibert of Savoy, “his brother at heart”, who also spends a large part of the year in California.
