(CercleFinance.com) – Engie and Société d’Infrastructures Gazières (SIG), an investment vehicle held by CNP Assurances and Caisse des Dépôts, have finalized the acquisition of an 11.5% stake in GRTgaz by SIG with Engie for an amount of 1.1 billion euros.
With this transaction, SIG now holds nearly 39%, Engie retaining 61%.
This acquisition includes for SIG the sale of 17.8% in Elengy in exchange for new GRTgaz shares and simplifies the shareholder structure of GRTgaz which, following this transaction, holds 100% of Elengy.
