(Boursier.com) — Brad Pitt has reportedly reached an agreement to sell 60% of his production company, Plan B Entertainment, to Mediawan in a deal expected to be announced this weekend. According to people familiar with the matter quoted by ‘CNBC’, the operation valued Plan B several hundred million dollars (but less than half a billion). The multiple Oscar-winning Hollywood star founded Plan B in 2001 with ex-wife Jennifer Aniston and then-manager Brad Grey, who died in 2017.
B.Pitt became the sole owner of the California firm after his divorce from the actress. The production company has helped direct multiple films and television series over the past two decades, including Oscar-winning films such as “The Departed” and “12 Years a Slave.”
