(CercleFinance.com) – Eramet announces the launch of ‘two innovative pilot projects’ aimed at decarbonizing its metallurgical production processes, namely the production of manganese alloys and titanium slag.
Eramet points out that the two projects received support from Enova, the Norwegian government agency for energy transition, via a grant of around 6 million euros granted to the Group’s Norwegian subsidiary, Eramet Norway, and its three factories. manganese alloys in Porsgrunn, Sauda and Kvinesdal.
The next step will be to carry out an industrial pilot in order to confirm the technical feasibility of this innovation.
