Two years ago, Erol Sander and Caroline Goddet found each other again after a marriage crisis. Now the couple has talked about possible offspring and the renewed exchange of their wedding vows.
Erol Sander, 53, and his wife, Caroline Goddet, 45, are proof that some relationships can grow with a crisis. In an interview with “Bild” the couple talked about their reconciliation two years ago and what future plans they both have.

When asked about further offspring, Caroline Goddet seems skeptical at first. “Actually, I’m a little too old for a baby, aren’t I?” Asks the 45-year-old in a double interview. Your husband clearly disagrees. He asserts that a third child is not impossible. “Well – it could still happen that we have a third child. In any case, I am not ruling out it,” replies the actor.
Erol and Caroline are parents of their two sons Marlon, 18, and Elyas, 11. The actor met his wife in 1996 in Paris. Four years later, the spontaneous wedding took place in Denmark. Despite a severe marital crisis, which included domestic violence, the two never got divorced and ultimately found each other again. Now, 21 years after the wedding, a renewed exchange of vows is just as possible for the two of them as another baby.

A second wedding “can happen”, assures Caroline Goddet. But it would probably be a very spontaneous idea again – just like with their first wedding. Erol Sander would even be in Las Vegas for a wedding. More important than another ceremony, however, is something completely different for the two: “We show our love for one another in everyday life,” said Caroline. After all the ups and downs, it is clear to her and her husband: “We now know that we will stay together forever.”
