Esther Sedlaczek has become a mother again. The presenter gave birth to her second child.

TV presenter Esther Sedlaczek (36) became a mother for the second time shortly before the turn of the year. “My definition of happiness (and sleepless nights),” she wrote in an Instagram post. In the accompanying photo, she can be seen grinning broadly with her newborn baby, which she is holding in her arms. The new mom wears a simple white T-shirt, and the baby is dressed in a white wool sweater and a gray body to match.

“As is well known, the best comes at the end. With this in mind, a Happy New Year to all of you. I’m looking forward to 2022 with you,” Sedlaczek concluded her contribution.

Congratulations piled up in the comments. Among others, the presenters Britta Hofmann (41), Vera Int-Veen (54) and Laura Wontorra (32) as well as sports commentator Wolff-Christoph Fuss (45) and actress Maria Wedig (37) congratulated on the birth. Sedlaczek’s father, the actor Sven Martinek (57), put “So wonderful” under the post with several heart emojis.

Known from the “Sportschau”

In May 2019, Esther Sedlaczek and her husband had a daughter. The 36-year-old has been moderating the ARD “Sportschau” since summer 2021. Before that, the native of Berlin worked for the broadcaster Sky in soccer reporting for around ten years – first as a reporter on the lawn, then as a presenter in the studio.
