Hollywood star Ethan Hawke rarely shows his two youngest children. Now he has made an exception for Easter.

Hollywood star Ethan Hawke (51) shares a rare photo of his youngest daughters, Indiana (born 2011) and Clementine Jane (born 2008) shared with his Instagram followers. “Mother Nature is doing her thing. Happy Easter everyone and have a great spring,” the actor added to the snap. In the picture he is sitting on a wooden veranda, holding the two girls at his side in his arms. All three wear bunny ears. In the post, the 51-year-old also showed other nature shots, including sheep.

The two daughters are from Hawke’s second marriage to Ryan Shawhughes. The two said yes in 2008. The actor was previously married to his colleague Uma Thurman (51), whom he met on the set of “Gattaca” in 1996. Hawke also has two children with her, Maya (23) and Levon (20). The Hollywood couple separated in 2003. The divorce was finalized in August 2005.

Shawhughes had briefly worked as a nanny to Hawke’s older children. In 2009, the actor explained the “Guardian” to rumors, which were circulating: “There was never any scandalous thought or action at the time. In the years that followed, my marriage fell apart due to many stresses, none of which were even remotely related to Ryan.” He and his second wife only met later and fell in love.

A star since the 80s

Ethan Hawke’s acting breakthrough came in 1989 with Dead Poets Society. He was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2002 for his role as Officer Jake Hoyt in Training Day. Further nominations followed in the category “Best Adapted Screenplay” in 2005 for the film “Before Sunset” and in 2014 for “Before Midnight”. In 2015 he was again in the running for the golden boy as “Best Supporting Actor” for “Boyhood”. The actor can currently be seen in the Marvel series “Moon Knight” on the Disney+ streaming service.
