With the keywords “Ethereum Merge” or “The Merge” those interested can read the exact time of the changeover of the network in the English-language version of Google.
The timer is currently at 2 days, 18 hours and 35 minutes. Google calculates the time from the difficulty and the hash rate of the Ethereum network.
The crypto space has been looking forward to the merger for years. With the upgrade, Ethereum is fundamentally adapting its network structure and wants to become more climate-friendly, among other things. The conversion will take place in two phases. While the first step was initiated a few days ago, the final switch is expected between September 13th and 15th.
