He announced the launch of a new software called Reth. This will allow the validators on Ethereum to launch nodes using the Rust language. Moreover, Reth is the diminutive of “Rust Ethereum”.
Georgios Konstantopoulosthe manager in question, was delighted to expand the range of languages available and thus strengthen the network:
“The software was launched in order to contribute to the stability of Ethereum, by improving the diversity of customers. »

More diversity of customers for more security
This idea of customer diversity is important for the Ethereum developer community. This is to ensure that no node software dominates the network too much, which is currently the case with the Geth – “Go-Ethereum” – developed by Google and which covers 80% of validators.

The company says the code is available for free on Github under the Apache/MIT license. It’s a way for Paradigm to contribute to the roadmap in their own way.
