PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The investment company Eurazeo announced on Tuesday that it had raised a total of 5.2 billion euros from third-party investors in 2021, an increase of 80% compared to 2020.
Of this amount, 550 million euros were raised from individual customers. In addition, major international investors represented nearly two-thirds of the amounts raised, against less than a quarter historically, the group said in a press release.
By asset class, the group’s private equity funds raised €3.1 billion and private debt funds almost €2 billion. About 150 million euros have been raised in the framework of “real assets” funds: real estate, infrastructure, etc.
Eurazeo had indicated in early November that it was aiming for inflows of more than 4 billion euros in 2021. At the end of September, assets under management stood at 27 billion euros.
