(CercleFinance.com) – The manufacturer of active pharmaceutical ingredients Euroapi announces that it has gradually restarted the production of prostaglandins at its Budapest site on January 19, and expects that most of this production will have resumed by mid-April 2023 .
The company recalls having identified at the beginning of December, certain deviations from good manufacturing practices concerning the documentation relating to production, and having therefore decided as a precaution to proactively and temporarily suspend these activities.
Euroapi has successfully built and implemented a comprehensive remediation plan. As anticipated, no other activity at the Budapest site was impacted, including CDMO (Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization) activities.
