Europe 1: DAB+ is expanding for your radio!


Europe 1 is now available in DAB+: a new technology for broadcasting radio in digital quality, at home, in the car and without subscription. Listen to your favorite radio with optimum listening quality.

DAB+, the radio equivalent of DTT on television, is now available in the major cities of Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Bordeaux, Lille, Toulouse, Nantes and around twenty significant cities.

In March 2024, the DAB+ offer will be complete in Amiens, Avignon, Bayonne, Besançon, Bordeaux, Brest, Caen, Clermont-Ferrand, Dunkirk, Dijon, Lens, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Metz, Montpellier, Mulhouse, Nancy, Nantes , Nice, Nîmes, Orléans, Paris, Perpignan, Poitiers, Reims, Rennes, Rouen, Strasbourg, Toulon, Tours, Toulouse, Valenciennes…

Road continuity is provided by DAB+, particularly on the Paris – Lyon – Marseille roads and now on the roads:

  • A13: Paris – Le Havre – Caen

Communicating about DAB+ responds to an essential awareness issue: today only 17% of French people are aware of DAB+ while diffusion will take significant steps in 2024.
