(CercleFinance.com) – Eutelsat Communications announces that it has signed a multi-year capacity agreement with Intersat covering several hundred Mbps to meet the connectivity needs of businesses, communities and individuals in The Gambia, Guinea-Bissau and Senegal.
Under this agreement, which represents all of the capacity available in these countries, Intersat will rely on the coverage and reach of Eutelsat Konnect for the deployment of Internet services in territories located away from terrestrial infrastructures.
‘This agreement highlights the important needs of the African continent, as well as the unequaled advantages of the Eutelsat Konnect satellite which will make it possible to fully satisfy them’, comments Nicolas Baravalle, Eutelsat’s regional director for sub-Saharan Africa.
