- In 1995 the GZSZ crew moved to Potsdam, where filming has been taking place in Babelsberg ever since.
- In the Babelsberg studio – the oldest film studio in the world – over 5500 broadcast GZSZ episodes have been produced to date.
- The episodes are always produced seven weeks in advance.

Ex-GZSZ star Susan Sideropoulos can be seen in the GZSZ spin-off
Nobody expected that! Susan Sideropoulos, 40, played Verena Koch in “Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten” from 2001 to 2011. Together with Leon (Daniel Fehlow, 46) she got little Oskar. Her tragic serial death will not be forgotten. Now there is news from the ex-GZSZ favorite that makes fan hearts beat faster. Susan Sideropoulos is back in front of the camera for GZSZ – more precisely, for the GZSZ spin-off “Leon – don’t believe everything you see.” A sensational return that GZSZ veteran Daniel Fehlow is particularly pleased about. Because even after their GZSZ time together, the two kept in contact. “Saying goodbye to Susan at GZSZ was tearful – not only according to the script, but also for me as a colleague. We haven’t lost sight of each other since then, but that I’m back in front of the camera with Susan is of course great!
