They called me ‘la noire’. I was too young to understand and then we went to live in Chartres. In my college, there were all nationalities. My friends were Laotian, Moroccan and Portuguese.” she explains.

Later, during her participation in the Miss France election in 2013, Flora Coquerel again experienced the same thing. “During my year as Miss France, I was the victim of insults because of my skin color. It was extremely violent but I made sure not to give importance to this minority of evil people.” she confided. Moreover, the young assumes completely like her, even her complexes. “Of course I have. I’ve always been the tallest, even in primary school. Also, I’ve never had the obsession of wanting to fit into size 36. Besides, I’ve never worn! When I was modeling, I was always told that I had to lose weight but I did not give in to the diktat of being thin. I have cellulite and I will have it all my life. On the other hand , the fact of having been exposed to the media for a year has developed new complexes in me. Hackers do not realize how much harm they can do. You have to be strong and at 19, I was very naive. Today , I feel very good about myself.” she confessed. And she is gorgeous!
