A few days after announcing his departure from the program Affaire concluded, Julien Cohen gave an interview to Télé Star. During the latter, the famous buyer responded to Pierre-Jean Chalençon’s comments about him.
Emblematic buyer of the show Affaire concluded for four years, Julien Cohen decided to leave the program after having shot more than 1,550 shows! If the famous buyer prefers to devote himself to the development of the first Maison des brocanteurs, in Péronne, in the Somme, Pierre-Jean Chalençon declared thatDeal concluded was “more a waste of money than anything else” for him. In an interview with Star TV, Julien Cohen replied: “No. I like him a lot, but he talks without thinking. In fact, between what I buy – sometimes too expensive – and what I sell, yes, I am at a loss. However, in the long run, the balance should certainly rebalance.“
Asked what he earned by being a buyer on the show, Julien Cohen revealed in full transparency: “We are paid 1000 euros per day of shooting in fees. So you have to deduct the charges. On the six emissions recorded per day, we perceive about 85 euros net before taxes.“Referring to the tensions between him and the other buyers, he unveiled:”There are always because of the financial stakes. As in a playground, affinities are created. We’re not necessarily all friends outside of the shoot, but we all have the same desire to make a great show.“Ex-star of the program, Pierre-Jean Chalençon reacted to his departure on Twitter. He wrote then:”Julien starts from the show Affaire concluded … 15 months after me, a page turns … The pillars of the show … The future is in front of us!“
