As he will soon celebrate his 50th birthday, he explains: “Psychologically, physically, everything is fine. I don’t feel like I’m that old and I’m told I’m well preserved“, he amused himself. “But I feel that it is getting more difficult and I plan to devote myself to another career soon“, he continued. But what is it? “Maybe a one-man show“, he said. A revelation that we did not expect.

But how does he explain this success? “Because I’m the one, outside of his sport, who dared to say the most bullshit“, he was initially amused. “And then, I’m natural, people like that. While he has formed an emblematic duo with Nelson Monfort for several years, the skater confides: “The competitions follow each other but are not alike. It forces us not to give in to weariness. But it is sure that we are getting old, especially Nelson“, he continued before specifying: “When we are three, with Annick Dumont, we have a feminist voice to channel our delusions. Together, we are more comical and spontaneous”. However, he assures us that he wants “teasing each other today rather than chastising the skaters, because we know that the self-righteous of social scourges are waiting for us at the turn”, he concluded.

The presidential elections are fast approaching and Philippe Candeloro does not hesitate to mention them in our columns. “I find that there are a lot of twists and turns with Zemmour who shakes up Le Pen, Macron who we don’t know if he is a candidate‘, he first explained. And concerning the person who could succeed Emmanuel Macron? “In my opinion, Valérie Pécresse has a real card to play. I find her right in her sneakers. I appreciate her action at the head of the Ile-de-France region and I will regret her in this function if she is elected“, he concluded.
