Exoprimal rolls out its roadmap until January 2024

The team ofExoprimal would first like to remind all participants of the many beta testing that it will be possible, upon release, to choose the final event of the main Jurassic Survival mode. Indeed, Capcom’s game is a PvPvE soft, and the goal is to reach the end of the fights faster than our competitors. In its original form, Exoprimal forced us to face the enemy team in the last phase, leading to a big mess all over the place. Players asked to keep a pure PvE option, and the developers listened: you can select the Final Mission that suits you. Even in pure PvE, however, you’ll need to be faster than your opponents.

Scalable branches

From July 28 will land the Wild Glove mode, reserved for the relentless of the kalash, those who are not afraid to brave theend game and who ask for more. This mode PvE-only will take you in groups of 5 through extremely hostile environments whose conditions and rewards alternate each week. A good way to break the routine. Then, on August 17, Capcom will flush us with 10 Alpha armors, variations of the base exoskeletons wielding a different weapon. For example, the Deadeye Alpha shares the skills of its base version, but trades its assault rifle for a pump. You will find the details on the official website.

Season 2 will roll out in mid-October with a new arena, the Ocean Platform, to rinse our noses out in the sea air. It will be accompanied by various content, including new customization modules for our armor and a new Final Mission format. On the cosmetic side, it will also be time to tighten the kimonos with the Street Fighter 6 collaboration. We have already seen Ryu and Guile, but other fighters could join this first pack by the fall.

Finally, January 2024 will give the gameplay a new boost with a new boss, the Neo Triceratops. To take down the monster, 10 Beta armor variants will join the dance, modeled after their Alpha cousins. And if cross-franchise synergies are your thing, then you’ll be thrilled to hear that a Monster Hunter collab is planned to adorn our hunter-style exo-skeletons.

If Capcom promises that the adventure will not stop there, we will have to wait (and see the attendance figures) to see what the hypothetical season 4 has in store…

Exoprimal will land on July 14 on PC and consoles, except the Switch, of course, which would probably turn into a thermonuclear bomb given the amount of particles on the screen. Game Pass owners will be able to zig some dino day one no additional cost.

For the road, below is a launch trailer.
