The police in Styria discovered a 21-year-old who was dealing with fake COVID test certificates. A woman had expressed the suspicion that the young woman from Graz had already offered her falsified test results. The police also found fake test results in the student’s apartment.
When police officers confronted the 21-year-old with the allegation last night, she confessed. The Graz native stated that she would create the forgeries herself on her laptop using a pre-made blank document. She did not say where she got this from.
Rejection of tests and vaccination
The suspect expressed her strong rejection of COVID tests and vaccinations as a motive. She would need the fakes in order to still be able to participate in public life and to get to party and night clubs. Police officers temporarily seized the 21-year-old’s laptop to preserve evidence. The woman is reported on suspicion of forging documents.
