Fabrice Brégier is appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of SCOR
SCOR’s Board of Directors, meeting on June 25, 2023, unanimously decided to appoint Fabrice Brégier Non-Executive Chairman, with immediate effect.
This decision comes on the unanimous recommendation of the Appointments Committee, following a demanding and rigorous succession process, initiated in the spring of 2022.
Over the months, the Appointments Committee, assisted by the international recruitment firm Egon Zehnder, met on numerous occasions to define the search criteria for the future Chairman, select first-rate personalities who could correspond to the expected profile, and finally hearing the candidates most likely to take the helm of the board.
The committee, under the chairmanship of Adrien Couret, finally chose the candidacy of Fabrice Brégier, director of SCOR since 2019 and who, according to the committee, meets all the qualities required to chair the board of directors.
The Board of Directors made its decision after hearing Adrien Couret’s report and Fabrice Brégier’s profession of faith.

Biography
Born in 1961 and of French nationality, Fabrice Brégier is a graduate of the École Polytechnique and Chief Engineer at the Corps des Mines. He began his career in 1986 with the Ministry of Industrial Redeployment and Foreign Trade before being appointed Deputy Director in the Directorate General for Food of the Ministry of Agriculture in 1989. After several appointments as adviser to various ministers from 1991 to 1993, Fabrice Brégier joined Matra Défense, and became Managing Director of MBD/MBDA in 1998. He was then appointed Chairman and Managing Director of Eurocopter from 2003 to 2006, before joining Airbus (commercial aircraft) as Deputy Chief Executive Officer at the end of 2006 then Chief Executive Officer from 2012 to 2018. Fabrice Brégier has been Chairman of Palantir France since October 2018. He joined SCOR’s Board of Directors in 2019.
