In an interview with a YouTuber, Kevin Hart’s ex-assistant claimed he had an affair. Hart takes action against it.

Actor Kevin Hart (44) is suing a former assistant. This is reported by the US magazine “People”, which has relevant court documents. The employee, who according to the lawsuit worked for Hart from August 2017 to October 2020, gave an interview to YouTuber Tasha K in which she alleged, among other things, that Hart had an affair in his office. She also explained that she had told Hart’s wife Eniko (39) about her husband’s alleged cheating. She also reports on the actor’s alleged gambling problems.

Was Kevin Hart blackmailed?

Hart’s lawsuit states that the YouTuber allegedly demanded money and threatened to publish the interview, which would damage his reputation, if the actor didn’t pay $250,000 (around 225,000 euros). Hart is said to have then contacted the police and issued a cease and desist order, asking them not to publish the interview as it would “constitute an intentional interference with contractual relations”. The interview would also contain “false and defamatory statements about Hart.”

Hart is suing the ex-assistant and the YouTuber for civil extortion and invasion of privacy. He is also suing the employee for breach of contract and defamation. YouTuber Latasha Kebe, aka Tasha K, has “published demonstrably defamatory and otherwise inappropriate content about celebrities,” the lawsuit says. In 2022, musician Cardi B (31) won a defamation case against Kebe.

Kevin Hart publicly apologized to his then eight-months-pregnant wife in 2017 after cheating rumors arose and a person apparently tried to blackmail him over a sexually suggestive video.
