FANZONE expands its Legends Edition: “Road To World Cup”

On May 17th, FANZONE launches the second exclusive Legends collection: Nach
Andreas Brehme, who scored the final goals at the 1990 World Cup, now comes the 2014
World Champion Per Mertesacker with his own NFT collection FANZONE.io. The special: The Mertesacker collection consists of elaborately produced and animated bobbleheads.

The highlight of the collection are the ice barrel NFTs, which pick up on Mertesacker’s legendary TV interview during the tournament. There are a maximum of 100 of the various Per Mertesacker NFTs, some Bobblehead NFTs are additionally loaded with special fan rewards, ranging from personally signed world champion jerseys to a special “Per Mertesacker Thank You” NFT to Fanzone Sports Club NFT passes worth 0.15 ETH.

Current and former internationals on FANZONE

In the coming months, FANZONE will launch more limited NFT collections
publish with former German world and European champions. In addition to the Legends, new drops with the current national players are on the release plan for the “Road To World Cup”.

The first drop in the Road To World Cup campaign took place in mid-May and consisted of very rare NFTs from eight current internationals. Manuel Neuer, Kai Havertz and Joshua Kimmich are not only three of the most successful, but also the most popular German internationals. At the most recent NFT Drop on FANZONE.io, the NFTs of the three, which were limited to 10 digital trading cards, sold out within minutes. Other players like Jamal Musiala, Thomas Müller and Timo Werner will follow in July and August.

FANZONE wants to offer sports fans worldwide the opportunity to enter the collecting experience with limited and officially licensed NFT collections with a low entry hurdle. Via the web, iOS app or Android app, users have access to the digital collectibles of the German national soccer team and many other sports partners on the platform.

The “Road To World Cup” collection includes 24 current national players, plus national coach Hansi Flick in rare 1-of-10 NFTs, as well as unique 1-of-1 NFTs,
