While waiting for official news from Far Cry 7, it would have been the victim of potential leaks which reveal to us some intriguing details concerning its characters.
Three years after the release of the sixth opus, Far Cry 7 has so far mainly become known through leaks and rumors. It is therefore through this that we learn more about the story and its characters. However, it should be emphasized that all this is not official and therefore should not be taken literally.
Far Cry 7 characters on the run
The latest leak about Far Cry 7 comes to us from a role description for the casting of a project codenamed “Rival”. It is about a story featuring a rich family and a conspiracy theorist. This would correspond to the story of the seventh installment of Ubisoft’s FPS franchise. Remember that other leaks suggested that the game would take place on a fictional island in Korea, and that our character would be engaged in a race against time to save his loved ones.
So here are new details on the characters that could fit this synopsis, otherwise shared on Reddit. According to this leak, Far Cry 7 could allow us to play up to four characters: Layla, Dax, Brie or Christian Bennett. All would be between 30 and 40 years old and linked to a veritable family financial empire. We could also combine the possibility of playing four different characters with a job offer suggesting that the next game in the series would offer us a third-person perspective, at least potentially in cooperation and multiplayer.
The list focuses on other characters, such as other members of the Bennett family, or their relatives/rivals. Despite a certain consistency in the latest leaks relating to Far Cry 7, all of this must obviously be taken with a grain of salt. This is also the case for its release date, a priori scheduled for fall 2025 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series, but once again via a leak. We will therefore have to wait for official announcements to get the end of the story.
